The Law of Attraction has been getting a lot of attention lately. Between Oprah and the movie "The Secret", practically everyone has learned about it. Just what a wonderful thing, to be able to attract anything to you that you want. But that isn't all there is to it. Let's have a go through the Law of Attraction, the nice, the bad, and the ugly.
The Good - The Law of Attraction doesn't value your age, your gender, or your status; it works as well for all, and it's changed the lives of many men and women for the better. Using the natural law of the Universe and tapping into this limitless pool of energy, anyone can have a dream, a desire or a goal and be moved into positive action.
The Law of Attraction is a reason for individuals to take stock of these abilities, to seriously look at their goals and to begin making them come true. The nature of how the Law works gives people a chance to take action, use their potential, avoid procrastination and live a life that's filled with purposeful dreaming and creation. The Law is not just about having goals, it's about fulfilling them in a structured way.
The Bad - Everything about the Law of Attraction depends on the patient and by that very nature, regulations can come out to be quite bad. If you're unconsciously using the Laws of Attraction in a negative way, you'll develop a life that you don't want and will wonder why your daily life is really pathetic.
And, if you've chosen your readings about the Universal Laws carefully, you will find that because the power of creating dreams come true is available to everyone, it doesn't automatically signify we all usually takes our pick of the apples from the tree. Just visualizing won't create results. It requires a lot more effort than that.
And the Law of Attraction has fallen victim to commercialization. Notice most of the books, blogs, CDs, seminars and movies, all promising to be THE guide to the Law of Attraction. Many of these products (and they're products) promise their readers and users a fresh thing, a fresh concept, a fresh action plan but in fact, they don't really all deliver. What they contain is just the same ideas and concepts of the exact same law. Innovative? No. Repackaged? Definitely.
The Ugly - Can something this good be ever bad? Is it feasible for a Universal Law to full cover up an ugly, dark side? Will there be something about this that we should bother about? It's if you are in the habit of creating your personal reality that's way out of line with possibilities.
The danger is that the Law of Attraction may be misinterpreted and used to the extreme and spun off into a full world of fantasy. This could happen each time a person creates their own reality, something that could be one hundred million light years away from the truth in his life.
Let's take for example the well-loved reality show'American Idol '. Hundreds and 1000s of those that audition for the show, really, truly believe in their hearts that they are the next American Idol. Now let's say a fourth of them utilize the Law of Attraction to greatly help them make their dreams come true. Will this work?
Thinking that the Law of Attraction will work based solely on the premise that only concentrating on something you want will bring it alive is faulty. Utilising the American Idol example, we'll find at least two examples where creating your personal reality collides with a successful utilization of the Law of Attraction. First, not everybody who uses the Law of Attraction gets the talent and singing skills to greatly help them go through the rounds in the competition. Second, even when everyone who uses the Law of Attraction does have the singing talent, not everybody are certain to get his dream because there's only one top spot. The others will lose because of insufficient votes from the viewers and the fact that there's only room for one.
Remember that the Law of Attraction is all about the truth. It will not survive or thrive in misconceptions and delusions, particularly if they're self-imposed. Depending on what you put it to use, the Law may change your perception of things in your life. For that alone, think about the Law as something really Good. But as you utilize the Law of Attraction, know about the bad and the ugly as well.
